Vardhman Yarns & Threads ltd, Hoshiarpur under its CSR initiative has been initiating welfare activities of many schools with in the city of Hoshiarpur and surroundings.Today  Sh. Brahm Shankar Jimpa, Cabinet Minister-Punjab has done inauguration of one class room , toilet blocks , water cooler with RO and paver block in court yard at DSRC Govt primary school, railway mandi and two class rooms, Paver block in courtyard ,renovation of 05 classrooms 

 On this Occasion Mr. I M J S Sidhu,(President & Director Incharge ),Mr. Tarun Chawla Director ( Fin & Admin) along with Vardhman Officials & Principal with School Staff were present.

Mr.Jimpa, Cabinet Minister, Punjab has appreciated the contribution of vardhman to the school and to the society. During this function he said that education & Healthcare keeps an important position in the development paradigm of the country & Vardhman has always been in front to Support & encourage with taking initiatives under its CSR activities for such developments.

Mr. Sidhu & Mr. Chawla has addressed the school staff and other dignitaries present during this occasion and emphasized that education and health are the basic needs of any society and the company will keep on taking such initiatives for providing facilities to the school for children’s education.

On this occasion, School has organized a cultural program presented by the school children &  school Principal has given her thanks note to Vardhman for Supporting the School.
