 World Patient Safety Day was celebrated by the students of Rayat Bahra Nursing College.

World Patient Safety Day was celebrated by the students of Rayat Bahra Nursing College in different hospitals. On this occasion, the principal of the college, Dr. Meenakshi Chand, said that on this day, the whole world gets an opportunity to show the importance of patient safety. The day provides an opportunity to sensitize the general public and impart information about proper health protection. She said that there are some essential measures for the safety of the patient which every person should keep in mind. These include washing hands regularly, eating well, getting enough sleep, and avoiding drug use to prevent infection. She said that this is an important step towards advancing health security and keeping the patient healthy. On this occasion, the students gave information to the family members of the patients about their care through posters. Prof. Raj Kiran, Prof. Gurpreet Kaur and other students were present on this occasion.
