Revenue Court Management System to Speed Up Case Disposal, Enhance Transparency/ Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain

A special district-level training session on the Revenue Court Management System (RCMS) was organised today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain. Readers, ahalmads, and lawyers participated in the training, aimed at making revenue court proceedings digital, transparent, and more effective.Addressing the session, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain stated that all revenue court cases in the district will now be handled through the e-filing system. She clarified that RCMS enables online filing of cases, tracking of hearing status, access to orders, and streamlined record management, sparing the public repeated visits to offices.She sought feedback from officials on key RCMS issues, including the rollout of e-filing, uploading of all pending and new revenue court cases on the portal, and progress on staff and lawyer training. The Deputy Commissioner directed that all revenue court cases in the district be fully uploaded on RCMS, with no lapses in technology or procedures at any level.Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain noted that training for staff and lawyers is nearly complete, with refresher sessions to be held as needed in the future. She expressed confidence that effective implementation of RCMS will accelerate case disposal and strengthen transparency and accountability in administrative functions. On the occasion, District Revenue Officer Amandeep Chawla, District System Manager Charan Kanwal, District Informatics Officer Rinki, Engineer Tajinder Singh, Rajandeep Sohal, and other officials were present.
