Six-Day Workshop Organized by Mahindra Pride Class and Nandi Foundation

A six-day workshop was organized by Mahindra Pride Class in collaboration with Nandi Foundation at two educational institutions run under the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee — Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial Khalsa College, Dumeli, and Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Droli Kalan.
The main objective of the workshop was to empower young girls by providing them with skill training and employment opportunities, helping them become self-reliant. During the sessions, expert Rajeev Kumar provided insightful guidance on various topics such as communication skills, job opportunities, group discussions, resume preparation, video networking, critical thinking, digital identity, job interviews, social media usage, ethics, savings techniques, time management, and budgeting. He explained these concepts in a simple and practical manner, using real-life examples.
The workshop coordinator, Prof. Damanjeet Kaur, addressed the students and said that if girls are given the right opportunities to become self-dependent, they can lead a secure and comfortable life.
On this occasion, participants were honored with certificates and medals. The students also shared their experiences and learnings from the workshop. Faculty and staff members of the colleges were present during the sessions.
