Illegal Encroachments Cleared in kot fatuhi Market, Strict Action Warned

Mahilpur police station in-charge Madan Singh led a drive to remove illegal encroachments by shopkeepers in the bustling Kot Fatui market on Thursday, restoring smoother traffic flow on key roads.For months, the town has battled frequent traffic jams every 15 minutes along routes like Kot Fatui-Manan Hanna Road, Adampur Road, Garhshankar Road, and Behram Road. Despite repeated complaints from local residents to authorities, no action was taken—until now.Accompanied by his team and Kot Fatui police post in-charge Sukhwindar Singh, SHO Madan Singh cleared the encroachments on the spot. Challans were also issued to vehicles parked illegally.Shopkeepers received a stern warning: any future extension of shop goods onto public space will invite strict legal action. "Follow-up checks will continue periodically," the SHO stated. "Rehri-farri vendors or shopkeepers found encroaching will face the full force of the law."
