 Light and Sound Show to Mark 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji at Hoshiarpur’s Lajwanti Stadium on Nov. 8

The Punjab Government will organize a unique light and sound show at the Lajwanti Multipurpose Stadium in Hoshiarpur on November 8 to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The show will depict the revered Guru’s life, teachings, and supreme sacrifice through a digital presentation.Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Nikas Kumar shared this information during a meeting held with district officials to review preparations for the event. He informed that the 45-minute-long light and sound show will highlight Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s life journey, spiritual legacy, and universal message of peace, tolerance, and brotherhood in a visually captivating digital format.He said the event would offer devotees a profound experience and serve as a heartfelt tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s message of humanity and compassion. Entry to the show will begin at 5 p.m. on November 8, and it will be open to all without the need for passes. The ADC appealed to the residents of Hoshiarpur district to attend the event in large numbers.During the review meeting, the ADC examined various arrangements including security, traffic control, sanitation, parking, barricading, uninterrupted power supply, medical assistance, fire safety, publicity, control room setup, and availability of drinking water. He directed police and civil officials to ensure comprehensive planning so that devotees face no inconvenience during the grand event.The show is being presented by the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Punjab.

Assistant Commissioner Oishi Mandal, SDM Hoshiarpur Gursimranjit Kaur, RTO Amandeep Kaur Ghumman, SP Dr. Manpreet Shehmar, Tehsildar Hirdevir Singh, District Public Relations Officer Hardev Singh Assi, and District Sports Officer Gurpreet Singh, along with other departmental officials, were present during the meeting.
