A key meeting of the Punjab Football Association (PFA), Doaba Sporting Club Kheda-Mahilpur, and local sports enthusiasts was held at the Sardar Kartar Singh Bains Memorial Football Stadium in Pind Khera. Discussions focused on organising the final round of the All India Football Federation's (AIFF) Asmita Under-13 National League for girls, aimed at promoting women's football across India. Eight teams from various states that qualified through zonal leagues will compete.

Participating Teams

PFA Joint Secretary Vijay Bali and Doaba Sporting Club Khera-Mahilpur President Jathedar Iqbal Singh Khera shared details, stating that the eight qualified teams hail from Punjab, Gujarat, Mizoram, Kerala, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Assam, and Jharkhand. They will be divided into two groups for league matches from April 7 to 16, followed by semifinals and the final.

Arrangements

The AIFF has entrusted the PFA with all arrangements, including hotel accommodation for teams and transport to and from the ground. PFA Secretary Harjinder Singh Jagga, Vijay Bali, and Hardeep Singh Saini are overseeing these responsibilities. Doaba Sporting Club has assured full support for the tournament.
