Grand Release of the Book “Ek Safar” at D.A.V. College of Education, Hoshiarpur

D.A.V. College of Education, Hoshiarpur, witnessed a moment of pride and celebration with the grand release of the book “Ek Safar” authored by Dr. Jyoti Verma on the life of a great social worker and reformer, Ex-MP Dr. Avinash Rai Khanna. The event was graced by distinguished guests, faculty members and students. Principal Dr. Vidhi Bhalla formally welcomed the dignitaries and made the students aware of the seven books of Dr. Avinash Rai Khanna and his contribution to the welfare of society.
The book was released by Chief Guest Retd. IPS Sh. Sudesh Kumar (Former Director General of Police), Guest of Honour Dr. Jasveera Anoop Minhas (Retd. Vice-Principal), Vice-President Sh. Y.P. Joshi, Secretary Sh. R.M. Bhalla and Principal Dr. Vidhi Bhalla.
During the ceremony, Dr. Avinash Rai Khanna shared the inspiration behind the creation of “Ek Safar”, highlighting that the book reflects life’s journey, values, and meaningful experiences. He encouraged students to cultivate the habit of reading and to engage actively in creative & social pursuits.
Retd. IPS Sh. Sudesh Kumar motivated the students by sharing his life history of success. He also added Dr. Khanna's experiences, thoughts and inspirational reflections will undoubtedly guide readers towards a purposeful and selfless life.
On this great occasion, Dr. Jasveera Minhas said, Dr. Khanna's thoughtful insights and sincere reflections make this book not only engaging but also deeply enriching for readers of all ages.
President Dr. Anoop Kumar also congratulated Dr. Avinash Rai Khanna for the successful release of the book 'Ek Safar'- a reflection of a meaningful journey filled with dedication, values and a deep sense of service to society.
