Nirmal Bhekh Sect to Hold Grand Nagar Kirtan on November 10 to Mark 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib

— The Nirmal Bhekh sect will organize a grand Nagar Kirtan on November 10 to mark the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The procession aims to commemorate the Guru’s supreme sacrifice and reaffirm the values of faith and service.A preparatory meeting was held at Nirmal Kutia, Qila Barun, Chhota Bajwara, under the chairmanship of Sant Karamjit Singh Ji of Tibba Sahib and patronage of Sant Baba Amarjit Singh Ji of Harkhowal. Detailed discussions were held regarding arrangements, route management, and community participation.Sant Gurucharan Singh Ji Maharaj, head of Tap Sthan Nirmal Kutia, Chhambwali (Pandwa), announced that the Nagar Kirtan would be led by Brahm giani Sant Baba Jwala Singh Ji (108) from Dera Santgarh Harkhowal to Gurdwara Sis Ganj, via Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib. The procession will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, November 10.A large number of saints and devotees from across the region are expected to join the event. Flex banners and welcome points will be set up along the route, and organizational responsibilities have been assigned to ensure smooth proceedings. Nirmal deras located along the route will extend a ceremonial welcome to the procession.The Nagar Kirtan will be carried out under the sacred canopy of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, led by the Panj Piare (Five Beloved Ones). Speakers at the meeting emphasized the importance of accurate recitation and dissemination of Gurbani and urged devotees to participate actively in the celebrations while guiding youth to follow Gurmat principles.Prominent among those present were Sant Pritam Singh Domeli, Mahant Tarlochan Singh, Baba Balbir Singh of Dera Virakt, Sant Surjit Singh, Sant Tarseem Singh (Nirmal Kutia Johlan), Sant Balbir Singh Tibba Sahib, Sant Inderjit Singh, Sant Harjinder Singh Atari, Sant Ajit Singh, and Sant Ashok Singh, along with several other spiritual leaders of the Nirmal sect.
