On the occasion of 79th Independence Day Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) was honored with a *Letter of Appreciation* by the Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar, **Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, IAS**, for its remarkable contributions in the field of social upliftment. The honor was conferred during an official ceremony held at the District Administration Complex, which was attended by administrative officers, social workers, and Swami Sajjananand Ji representing the organization.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal stated that Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan has been making consistent,'s impactful, and result-oriented efforts in areas such as drug de-addiction, women empowerment, conservation and promotion of indigenous Indian cattle breeds, environmental protection, educational outreach, disaster relief, and the propagation of moral values. He specially appreciated the organization’s grassroots reach, the dedication of its volunteers, and its well-coordinated action plans.
On behalf of the organization, Swami Sajjananand Ji, disciple of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner and the District Administration for this honor. He emphasized that the organization’s endeavors will continue with greater vigor towards building an “empowered, aware, and value-enriched” society for human welfare.
Following the event, the organization also shared its upcoming plans which include campaigns for drug eradication, tree plantation and cleanliness drives, personality development workshops for students, and awareness sessions on women’s safety and health.
