MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa today formally inaugurated the construction of a tubewell worth ₹10 lakh in Jahan Khelan village. The event sparked great enthusiasm among the villagers. The new tubewell is expected to provide a permanent solution to the village's drinking water woes.MLA Jimba stated that the state government's aim is to extend basic facilities to every village, ensuring clean drinking water and adequate irrigation for farmers. He added that the tubewell will relieve residents from chronic water shortages.The MLA noted that this initiative fulfills a long-standing demand of the villagers and will give fresh momentum to the village's development. He assured that the government is continuously working on regional progress and more development projects will soon be undertaken in Jahan Khelan.Jimba directed officials to complete the construction within the stipulated timeframe and to the highest quality standards, so residents can benefit at the earliest.On the occasion, Block Committee Member Mukesh Kumar, Youth Sarpanch Pritpal, Jugal Kishore, Amandeep Kaur, Ramit Deol, Ravi Kumar, and village Sarpanch Parveen Kumari were prominently present. All expressed gratitude to the MLA, hailing the tubewell as a major boon for the village.
