 ADC Holds Meeting on Republic Day Tableau Preparations

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Nikas Kumar chaired an important meeting today with officials from various district administration departments to review preparations for the tableaux to be showcased on Republic Day. The aim was to ensure the January 26 celebrations are conducted with dignity, smooth organisation, and visual appeal.During the meeting, ADC (Development) emphasised that Republic Day is not just a national festival but a vital occasion to showcase the country's unity, integrity, and constitutional values. He directed that the tableaux should effectively highlight the district's developmental achievements, government schemes, social messages, and cultural heritage.He instructed all concerned departments to complete their tasks in a coordinated and time-bound manner. Special focus was laid on the themes, designs, materials, and presentation of the tableaux to convey positive messages to the public. Discussions also covered security standards, traffic arrangements, and technical aspects in detail.ADC Nikas Kumar made it clear that every department must discharge its responsibilities seriously, avoiding any laxity. He stated that the quality and discipline of the tableaux reflect the district's image, so all preparations must be of the highest standard.Officials from relevant departments attended the meeting and briefed the ADC on the progress of preparations. At the conclusion, ADC (Development) urged all officers to work together for a successful event.On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner Oishee Mandal, Assistant Commissioner (General) Parampreet Singh, and other officials were also present.
