IDBI Bank Donates Modern Equipment to Physiotherapy Department, Boosting Services

The physiotherapy department of Civil Hospital, Hoshiarpur, received a major boost when IDBI Bank, Hoshiarpur, donated advanced physiotherapy equipment under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The equipment was inaugurated in the presence of Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr Swati Shemar, Senior Medical Officer In-Charge of Civil Hospital Dr Navjot Singh, Senior Medical Officer Dr Neha Pal, and AHA Dr Shipra. IDBI Bank's Regional Operations Manager Amritsar, Suresh Kumar Meena, and Assistant General Manager & Branch Head Hoshiarpur, Janit Yadav, were also present.The donation includes an interferential therapy unit, an ultrasonic therapy unit, and a patient unweighting system, costing around ₹3 lakh. These modern machines will significantly strengthen physiotherapy and rehabilitation services.With these devices, patients suffering from muscle and nerve disorders, stroke victims, and those requiring post-accident rehabilitation will receive more effective treatment.Hospital authorities expressed gratitude to IDBI Bank, stating that such support will markedly improve the quality of government health services in the district, enabling the general public to access modern treatment facilities right in their own area.
