Mining Dept Seizes 6 Vehicles in Illegal Earth Excavation Drive

The Mining Department has seized five tractor-trailers loaded with soil and one tractor fitted with a hydraulic bucket involved in illegal excavation and transportation under the Kot Fatuhi town and Ajnoha police post jurisdictions in Sub-Division Garhshankar. A written complaint has been sent to the police for registering FIRs.Mining Department SDO Harkamal Singh stated that three tractor-trailers loaded with soil and one tractor with a hydraulic bucket were seized on the spot during illegal operations. A written request has been forwarded to the Kot Fatuhi police post for FIR registration. Additionally, two tractor-trailers loaded with soil were seized in the Ajnoha police post area, and the in-charge has been directed to register an FIR.He emphasized that strict action will be taken against those involved in illegal excavation as per the law, with no leniency for anyone.
