The fifth Green Nagar Kirtan, dedicated to the 556th Parkash Purab  of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, began from the sacred origin point of the River Bein at village Dhanoa and passed through several villages before concluding at Nirmal Kutiya Galowal. Upon arrival, the Panj Pyare laid the foundation stone of a new Gurdwara Sahib amid the resounding chants of “Bole So Nihal!” A large number of devotees participated in the Nagar Kirtan. MLA of Dasuya constituency, Karmbir Singh Ghuman, informed the Sangat that a proposal for the construction and preservation of the road along the River Bein had been sent to the Punjab Government.

Rajya Sabha Member and environmentalist Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal Ji distributed saplings as Prasad during the Nagar Kirtan. Throughout the procession, Sant Seechewal inspired the devotees with the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and offered prayers for the welfare of all, emphasizing the protection of air, water, and soil.

Before the start of the Nagar Kirtan, Sant Seechewal Ji offered Ardas before Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, highlighting the urgent issue of cleaning and preserving Punjab’s rivers from pollution. During the Ardas, he prayed, “Bless the governments with wisdom, guide the system on the right path, subdue destructive forces, grant understanding to the people, and may air, water, and earth remain usable for future generations.” The Kar Seva of the old river was also mentioned, along with the ongoing relief and restoration work after recent floods. This Ardas, performed at every Nagar Kirtan, has become a topic of wide discussion.

The local farmers expressed their gratitude to Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal Ji for leading the cleanup of the sacred River Bein, which has helped eliminate the problem of saline soil in the region. They requested that Nagar Kirtans continue to be organized along the banks of the holy Bein.

Later in the evening, Sant Seechewal Ji, under the leadership of the Panj Pyare, inaugurated the new Gurdwara Sahib at Nirmal Kutiya Galowal. The Nagar Kirtan started at 8 a.m. from the Gurdwara Sahib in village Dhanoa and passed through Himmatpur, Shatabkot, Wadhaiya, Terkiyana, Chhuriyan, Nehar Pull, Bararowal, Begpur, Bhekhowal, Khepra, Bhogian, Saidowal, Ghaiya, Budhobarkat, Chhaurian, New Galowal, and Old Galowal, before concluding in the evening at Nirmal Kutiya Galowal, situated on the sacred banks of River Bein.
