 Hoshiarpur Administration Fully Prepared to Welcome Nagar Kirtan Dedicated to 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji: DC Ashika Jain

A high-level review meeting was held today at the District Administrative Complex under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain to assess the preparations for welcoming the Nagar Kirtan dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Senior Superintendent of Police Sandeep Kumar Malik and officials from various departments were also present on the occasion.The Deputy Commissioner informed that the Nagar Kirtan, which began from Srinagar, will enter the Hoshiarpur district boundary on November 21 through Pathankot. It will proceed via Mukerian and Dasuya to Gurdwara Rampur Kheda, where an overnight halt is scheduled. The following day, November 22, the procession will pass through Bhunga and Hariana to reach Hoshiarpur city, where the district administration will accord it a ceremonial guard of honour. The Nagar Kirtan will then continue its journey through Chabbewal, Mahilpur, Saila Khurd, and Garhshankar before moving towards Sri Anandpur Sahib.DC Ashika Jain directed all departments to ensure proper arrangements for cleanliness, langar services, potable water supply, floral showers, and other facilities along the entire route to provide a smooth experience for devotees. She also instructed SDMs and DSPs to hold coordination meetings with municipal councils, gurdwara management committees, market associations, sarpanches, and other local dignitaries, reviewing preparations in detail and submitting regular updates to the Deputy Commissioner’s office.On this occasion, SSP Sandeep Kumar Malik reviewed security and traffic management arrangements and issued necessary directions to the police officials. The meeting was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Nikas Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amarbir Kaur Bhullar, SP Major Singh, SP Manpreet Sheemar, SDM Hoshiarpur Gursimranjit Kaur, SDM Dasuya Kanwaljit Singh, SDM Mukerian Ankur Mahendru, SDM Garhshankar Sanjeev Kumar, SDM Tanda Parampreet Singh, and officers from various departments.
