In an effort to ensure that every family has a permanent roof over their head, MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar from Chabbewal Assembly Constituency distributed financial assistance of Rs 2.92 crore to 195 families under a government housing scheme. Each beneficiary family received Rs 1.50 lakh for the construction of new homes.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Kumar said that the government remains committed to ensuring that the benefits of all welfare schemes reach every deserving family. He added that efforts are ongoing to clear pending applications under housing schemes so that no family remains without shelter.Dr. Kumar stated, “Our priority is to uplift the standard of living of every household in the Chabbewal Assembly segment. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is working tirelessly for the welfare of all sections of society.”

***Continuous Support for Growth**The MLA highlighted that the Punjab Government continues to provide necessary funds for various development projects across the state. He also acknowledged the contribution of Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal, Member of Parliament from Hoshiarpur, for facilitating the release of grants and supporting development work throughout the district.

****Transparency and Employment Opportunities**Sharing recent achievements, Dr. Kumar said that in the last four years, thousands of youth in the state have been given employment opportunities. “For the first time, government jobs are being offered purely on merit, without the need for recommendations or bribes,” he noted, emphasizing transparency in governance.“
