 Vigilance Awareness Week Observed in Hoshiarpur

 

Hoshiarpur/Oct 29/Daljeet Ajnoha As part of the ongoing Vigilance Awareness Week, the Vigilance Bureau, Hoshiarpur Unit, organized an oath-taking ceremony at the District Administrative Complex today. The event was presided over by DSP Vigilance Mandeep Singh Sekhon, who administered the integrity pledge to government officers and employees, urging them to discharge their duties with honesty and dedication.During the event, DSP Sekhon highlighted the importance of transparency and vigilance in public service. He appealed to all officers and staff members to actively participate in efforts to curb corruption and promote ethical conduct in governance.He further informed that the Vigilance Bureau is observing the Vigilance Awareness Week from October 28 to November 2 under the theme “Vigilance Against Corruption: Our Collective Responsibility.” A series of awareness programmes, including seminars and interactive sessions, are being conducted across the district to sensitize officials and the public about integrity in public life.The event was attended by ATO Sandeep Bharti, Vigilance Inspector Sakshi Sharma, and officials from the Police, CID, DC Office, and other departments.
