From the Garhshankar constituency, all workers of the Shiromani Akali Dal contributed Rs 7 lakh as the first installment to support the relief work being carried out under the leadership of party president Sukhbir Singh Badal. These services include providing diesel, sandbags for building embankments, and fodder for animals.

Under the leadership of District President Lakhwinder Singh Lakhi, Jathedar Iqbal Singh Kherra, Harpreet Singh Rinku Bedi, Joga Singh Ibrahimpur, Avtar Singh Nanowal, and Harpreet Singh Bains, all workers from Garhshankar assured Sukhbir Singh Badal that a total contribution of Rs 11 lakh in cash, along with wheat seeds and tractors for land leveling, would be made available at a larger scale.

On this occasion, prominent attendees included Namberdar Jaskamal Singh Dhada Kalan, Jagdev Singh Garhi Mansowal, Kulwant Singh Mola, Manjot Singh Tanda, Jaspal Singh Rudki Khas, Balwinder Singh (former Sarpanch Kheda), Sukhwinder Singh Dhada, Inderjit Singh Salempur, Avtar Singh Numberdar Dhada Kalan, Harminder Singh, Harjinder Singh Kherra, Charanjit Singh, Resham Singh Heer, and Avtar Singh.
