AIG Surinder Lamba Prioritizes Resolving Issues of Punjab Police Personnel

At the Punjab Police Headquarters, Sector-9 Chandigarh, IPS Surinder Lamba, AIG Personal-1, shared that his foremost responsibility is to listen to the grievances of police personnel across Punjab and ensure their timely redressal.
He explained that under his jurisdiction, every type of departmental matter concerning personnel from constable to inspector rank is taken up. Whether it is related to police recruitment or any challenge faced during service, all cases are addressed with seriousness and solutions are provided at the earliest.
AIG Lamba emphasized that police personnel dedicate themselves round the clock to the safety of society, and therefore, it is the administration’s duty to safeguard their rights and welfare. To achieve this, the department has adopted a transparent system so that no employee has to face unnecessary difficulties.
He expressed confidence that every member of Punjab Police is performing their duties with utmost honesty and dedication, while the department remains committed to ensuring that their facilities, rights, and well-being are fully protected.
