A joint delegation of various organizations met SDM Garhshankar against the brutal murder of a child by a criminal and the attempts to disturb communal harmony.
The demand was made that the accused should be given the strictest punishment through a fast-track court.

Recently, in Hoshiarpur, the brutal murder of a five-year-old child by a criminal sparked outrage. Opposing this heinous act and the subsequent well-planned conspiracy to target laborers working in Punjab from different states of the country, various organizations, under the banner of the United Farmers Front, came together and met the honorable SDM of Garhshankar at the local SDM office.
Before the discussions, all the leaders and workers of different organizations paid tribute to the five-year-old child. After that, they demanded from the SDM that the accused in this case be given the harshest punishment possible through a fast-track court. At the same time, they urged that under the cover of this incident, the communal attempts being made across several villages and towns of Punjab to threaten, intimidate, and drive out migrant workers must stop, and strict action be taken against those spreading hatred.
The delegation further demanded that the administration ensure the protection of working laborers and end the atmosphere of fear.
