Former Punjab Chief Secretary (Retd.) Kaushal stated that illegal voters are not victims but violators, who weaken the political power of genuine citizens and mock the very essence of national consent and democratic choice.
He emphasized that the time has come to draw a bold constitutional line—all human beings deserve dignity, but only citizens have the right to decide the nation’s future.
Kaushal urged that India must rise—resolute in its commitment, fair in its methods, and fearless in defending its democracy—to ensure the protection of national sovereignty and democratic values.
