 EO Dasuya Kamaljinder Singh Appeals Citizens to Pay Property Tax by July 31 — No Penalty and Interest on Old Arrears of property tax

– In a conversation with senior journalist Sanjiv Kumar, Executive Officer (EO) of Municipal Council Dasuya, Kamaljinder Singh, issued an important appeal to the residents and commercial property owners of the town. He informed that for both residential and commercial properties, the last date to deposit old pending property tax without any penalty and  interest is July 31, 2025.

EO Kamaljinder Singh urged all property owners in Dasuya to take full advantage of this special opportunity and clear their old arrears of property tax before the deadline. He emphasized that no penalty and interest will be charged on the outstanding property tax dues if paid on or before July 31.

“Timely clearance of property tax not only protects citizens from additional financial burden but also supports the Municipal Council in undertaking important development and civic works,” said Kamaljinder Singh. He highlighted that these revenues are essential for maintaining and upgrading services such as roads, sanitation, street lighting, and water supply.

He further appealed to the public to act responsibly and cooperate with the Municipal Council by paying their long-pending dues during this limited-time waiver period. He also appreciated the residents who regularly fulfill their civic responsibilities and encouraged others to come forward and avoid complications after the deadline.
