 Rayat Bahra International School’s Ishmeet Wins Gold in Kurash Championship

Ishmeet Kaur, a student of Rayat Bahra International School, delivered an outstanding performance by winning the gold medal at the National Level Kurash Championship, held under the 69th National School Games 2025–26. Competing in the Under-17 category, she defeated players from 16 states, showcasing exceptional sports talent, discipline, and dedication.

The achievement has brought pride and joy to the school campus. School Principal Rashmi Sharma congratulated Ishmeet, stating that her success is the result of continuous hard work and commitment, and that it will serve as an inspiration for other students.

On the occasion, Vice-Chancellor of Rayat Bahra Professional University, Dr. Chander Mohan, also felicitated the young champion, praised her perseverance, and wished her a bright future.

The Principal further congratulated Coach Kashmir Kaur and Ishmeet’s parents for their contribution to this achievement. She added that the school places special emphasis on sports to ensure the all-round development of students and to help them achieve recognition at the national level.
