Deputy Commissioner reviews progress of revenue schemes with officials

Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain today chaired an important review meeting with district revenue officers, where the progress of various revenue-related matters and pending works were discussed in detail.During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the current status of the Svamitva Yojana (Svamitva Scheme) and directed officials to prepare property cards in villages in a time-bound manner and deliver them to beneficiaries, ensuring the general public faces no difficulties related to ownership rights.The Deputy Commissioner also discussed the progress of the Easy Registry process, stating that providing transparent, simple, and speedy services to the common people is the administration's top priority. She instructed officials to promptly clear the pendency of mutations (name transfers) delayed due to software issues. She took a detailed review of recoveries related to stamps and registration, and directed faster collection of outstanding land revenue dues.Additionally, a thorough review was conducted on the status of jamabandi (land records), pending Musavi validation processes, and land revenue recovery. Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain made it clear that all revenue-related works must be completed within the stipulated timelines, and no negligence will be tolerated at any level.She directed officials to work in coordination with each other and ensure priority resolution of common citizens' problems.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amarbir Kaur Bhullar, SDM Dasuya Kanwaljeet Singh, SDM Garhshankar Sanjeev Kumar, District Revenue Officer Amandeep Chawla, DSM Charan Kanwal, and other concerned officials.
