On 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, Bhai Varinder Singh Masiti Donates His Body

Marking the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, Eye Donor Incharge Tanda, Bhai Varinder Singh Masiti, set an inspiring example of humanity by donating his entire body for medical purposes.Speaking on the occasion, Bhai Masiti said that no country in the world has yet been able to artificially create a human organ, yet each year, millions of usable organs are cremated. He appealed to people to pledge their bodies and organs after death to serve humanity.“If we donate our eyes, organs, and body, we can give life and vision to countless people in need. This would be the true use of the divine gifts bestowed upon us,” he said.Addressing the youth, Bhai Masiti urged them to commit to voluntary blood donation. He emphasized that blood cannot be manufactured in any laboratory, but through donation, we can save the lives of pregnant women, accident victims, and critically ill patients.On the occasion, Bhai Varinder Singh Masiti submitted his body donation documents to SMO Dr Karan Kumar Saini and Senior Physician Dr Preet Mahinder Singh at Civil Hospital, Tanda, and received the donation certificate. He remarked that acts like body, organ, and blood donation are true tributes to the teachings of the Gurus and lead society on the path of humanity.
