MLA Steps Up Development, Dedicates New Tubewell to Sina

In a move aimed at strengthening rural infrastructure, Chabbewal MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar on Monday inaugurated a new tubewell constructed at a cost of ₹7 lakh in Sina village. The project, welcomed with enthusiasm by local residents, is expected to provide major relief from the persistent water shortage in the area.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ishank said the Punjab Government is committed to ensuring basic amenities to people. He added that the newly installed tubewell would supply clean drinking water to hundreds of families in Sina.
Villagers expressed gratitude to the MLA, noting that the water scarcity had affected them for a long time and that the new facility would significantly improve daily life.
Dr. Ishank further stated that development works across the Chabbewal constituency are progressing steadily, with upcoming projects including the repair of drains, roads construction, enhancement of sports facilities, and improvement of common facilities.
The ceremony concluded with all panchayat members and villagers honouring the MLA and acknowledging the tubewell inauguration as a notable step forward in the village’s development. Rajinder Kaur BDO Hoshiarpur 2 was also present at the occasion.
