In an inspiring act of environmental responsibility, 11-year-old Ayan Rana, a Class IV student from Mazari village, celebrated his birthday by planting saplings — setting a shining example for his peers and the community.Encouraged by the values of his elders, Ayan chose to dedicate his special day to promoting greenery rather than hosting a traditional celebration. His efforts align with Mazari’s growing reputation as an eco-conscious village, where residents have actively contributed to enhancing the local environment.Expressing his joy, Ayan said he would personally take care of the sapling to ensure its healthy growth. “I will grow along with this plant,” he said, emphasizing that small, consistent steps can make a big difference in fighting global warming and pollution. He also urged his classmates to plant at least one tree during their lifetime and nurture it like a sibling.Appreciating Ayan’s initiative, Sarpanch Jaswinder Kaur remarked, “Children like Ayan are the true torchbearers of our village’s green mission.
