On this occasion, District & Sessions Judge Rajinder Aggarwal distributed saplings to judicial officers, the President, Vice President, Secretary of the Bar Association, and other court staff. He emphasized that trees play a vital role in keeping the natural environment clean and healthy. Trees not only protect us from air pollution but also help prevent many diseases and provide us with clean air and oxygen. He urged everyone to plant trees at their homes and workplaces to support this noble cause.
All judicial officers took an oath to protect the environment by planting and nurturing trees and committed themselves to making this campaign successful.
At the conclusion of the event, CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Neeraj Goyal stated that the existence of humanity depends on nature, and the efforts of one individual are not enough. Everyone must work collectively to safeguard the environment.
Similar plantation drives under the ‘One Judge, One Tree’ campaign were also held by judicial officers in the sub-divisions of Dasuya, Mukerian, and Garhshankar, where the public was also made aware of the importance of environmental protection.
