Senior Journalist and Educationist Sanjiv Kumar Shares His Views on the Prime Minister’s Address
In a powerful address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed India’s unwavering resolve against terrorism, delivering a stern message to the global community. Emphasizing that India will never compromise on national security, Modi declared that being a nuclear nation does not make India vulnerable to blackmail.
Referring to the recent military operation—Operation Sindoor—the Prime Minister described it as “suspended, not over,” signaling that India retains all strategic options and will not hesitate to act if provoked further. He paid heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers, scientists, and martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the nation, acknowledging their vital role in safeguarding India's sovereignty.
Without directly naming any country, PM Modi underscored that the only subject open for discussion is Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). This declaration came shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted a call for a ceasefire and urged both nations to engage in dialogue.
Senior journalist and educationist Sanjiv Kumar shared his views, stating: “The Prime Minister has effectively put an end to all the ‘ifs and buts’ surrounding ceasefire talks. India’s position is clear—dialogue cannot come at the cost of national security.”
This bold and decisive stance marks a significant shift in India’s geopolitical posture—one that demands global respect and delivers a clear message: Terrorism will be met with strength, not silence.
