Cabinet Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa said that every problem of Hoshiarpur residents is being resolved on time and no stone is being left unturned in providing basic facilities to the people. He was talking to journalists on the occasion of starting the work of laying pipeline at a cost of Rs 7 lakh 50 thousand on Balakrishna Road in the city. The Cabinet Minister said that the residents of the area have been struggling with the problem of sewage for a long time. He said that now by laying 12 inch pipeline here, this problem is getting a permanent solution and the road work will also be done simultaneously. He said that this work will be completed within a month. He said that the long term demands of the local residents are being resolved on priority basis. He said that development work in the area will continue in this manner, so that people do not face any kind of problem. During this, he directed the officials to complete this work within the stipulated time limit and said that any reduction in the quality of work will not be tolerated. He said that providing basic facilities to the people on time has always been the priority of the Punjab government.

During this, a large number of mohalla residents including Mayor Surinder Kumar, Hoshiarpur Cooperative Bank Chairman Vikram Sharma, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini, Deputy Mayor Ranjit Chaudhary, Sumesh Saini, Satwant Singh Sian and councilors were present.
