 District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur organizes awareness seminar on Youth Against Drugs at District De-Drug Rehabilitation Center Hoshiarpur

Honorable District and Sessions Judge cum Chairman District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur Shri Rajinder Agarwal and Shri Neeraj Goyal Chief Judicial Magistrate cum Secretary District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur, as per the orders of Punjab Legal Services Authority, today under the War Against Drug Anti-Drug Awareness, Medical Officer In-charge of the Center, Dr.  In the presence of Jasleen Kaur ji, an awareness seminar was conducted by Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel Advocate Vishal Kumar Nanda and Deputy Legal Aid Defense Counsel Advocate Sandeep Bhardwaj from District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur.

Advocate Vishal Nanda ji said that drug is a social creature, which first causes physical, mental, social harm.

On this occasion, he listened to the problems of many patients. He told about free legal aid that many Punjab Legal Service Authorities provide free legal aid to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, victims of hardship, prisoners, detainees, women, children and others whose annual income does not exceed 3 lakhs. He said that monthly and quarterly Lok Adalats are being held, the decisions of which are recognized by decree. He said that 15100 helpline has been issued by Punjab Legal Service Authority for public interest.  On this occasion, Parshant Aadia Counselor informed about the center.
