 Baljinder Maan's 12 Children's Books Now on Bharat bani Portal

Twelve children's books by Shiromani Punjabi children's literature writer Baljinder maan, editor of the only Punjabi children's magazine 'Nikian Karumbla' recorded in India Book of Records, have been made available in PDF format on the Bharatbani portal by the Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysuru, Karnataka, under the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.Revealing this, senior writer and journalist S. Ashok Bhaura stated that in recognition of Baljinder Maan's outstanding contributions to children's literature, sports, and cultural fields—where he has received state-level honours—this marks yet another remarkable achievement. Out of his total 18 children's books, 12 were uploaded to the Bharatbani project by CIIL in 2025.Bhaura further noted that Baljinder maan has maintained the magazine 'Nikian Karumbla' continuously since 1995, alongside editing 25 original books, 7 translated ones, and 35 others. His life partner Manjit Kaur and children Tanvir Maan, Harvir Maan, Ravneet Kaur, and Harmanpreet Kaur have also contributed to these philanthropic efforts.The CIIL, Mysuru, an institution dedicated to the development of Indian languages, makes outstanding books in various languages available in PDF on this portal. Baljinder Maan's books on the portal include: Kudrati God Vich, Maa Jiha Laad, Tripura Darshan, Charde Suraj Wale Rajan Vich, Sohna Pind Banaieye, Sada Savidhan te Baal Adhikar, Taya Balkar Singh, Mera Sapna, Wazir Di Larki, Khedan Minku te Chintu Diaan, Chand Tak Udaari, and Raj Raj Milda Piar Belio.On this occasion, those congratulating Baljinder Maan included literary, cultural, intellectual, sports, social, religious, and political leaders such as Dr. Raj Kumar MP, Dr. Ishank Kumar MLA, Jai Krishan Singh Rouri (Deputy Speaker, Punjab Assembly), Kulwant Singh Sangha (President, Principal Harbhajan Singh Sporting Club), Dr. Jaswant Rai (District Language and Research Officer), Principal Parvinder Singh, Dr. JB Sekhon, Dr. Darshan Singh Asht, Manmohan Singh Daun, Dr. Ashok Puri, Dr. Manmohan Singh Teer, Dr. Daljit Singh Ajnoha, Swinderjit Singh Bains SP, Dr. Sanwal Dhami, Dr. Shamsher Mohi, Madan Veera, Professor BS Balli, Krishanjeet Rao Kandowal, Dr. Balvir Kaur Rehal, Raghuvir Singh Cloa, Tarlokhan Pathlava, Bagga Singh (Artist), Chanchal Singh Bains, and Sukhman Singh, among others.
