Anti-Drug Campaign Rally Held in Jaijon Doaba

In Jaijon Doaba town of Hoshiarpur district, a rally was organized under the Punjab government's "Yudh Nashian Virudh" (War Against Drugs) campaign, led by ASI Manna Singh I/C PP Jaijon Doaba following directives from senior officials.ASI Manna Singh, along with his police team and local prominent figures, visited various spots in the town to raise awareness about staying away from drugs. He stated that the rally aimed to educate residents on avoiding narcotics. School students participated enthusiastically, holding placards with anti-drug slogans and spreading the message among shopkeepers in the market and other public places."Our youth were wasting their prime years due to drug addiction,". He highlighted that the government-launched campaign, now nearly nine months old, has proven highly effective in protecting young people and securing their bright futures. Many youngsters have quit drugs, resumed their work or studies, and expressed gratitude to the government. Those who fell into addiction due to compulsions, hardships, or bad company are now drug-free, thanks to police and parental efforts, and are leading fulfilling lives. Their parents are overjoyed.Police personnel from the post also joined the event.
