*Two-Day Judo Kurash Tournament Successfully Concludes at Cambridge International School, Nakodar /Rajesh Bagha*

The two-day District Jalandhar Kurash Championship, organized under the aegis of the Jalandhar Kurash Association, concluded successfully at Cambridge International School, Nakodar. This was an open competition, with 10 different schools participating with great enthusiasm. The closing ceremony, held on December 23, commenced with a welcome address by the organizing committee. The speech highlighted the success of the two-day event and appreciated the efforts of the players, coaches, referees, and all those present. The importance of sports, which promotes confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship, was also emphasized. The chief guest congratulated the winners and encouraged the players to continue participating in sports. During the prize distribution ceremony, the winners and runners-up were awarded medals, certificates, and trophies. Distinguished guests present on the occasion included Rajesh Bagha former Chairman of the Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission and Vice President of BJP Punjab India and Chief Patron of Pathway Global Alliance and National President of the British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation (United Kingdom) and Senior Vice President of Jalandhar Kurash Association (DJKA), Mrs. Geeta Verma (Press Secretary, DJKA), Sanjeev Sharma (Judo Coach, Sports Department, Jalandhar), Technical Secretary, Jalandhar, Davinder Kaler, Mr. Uday Sood, Mr. Arvind Chawla, Mr. Rajinder Kaku, Mr. Vishal Dheer, Dheeraj Wadhwa, Aman, and Mr. Kulwinder. The program concluded with a vote of thanks. The closing ceremony of the first two-day District Jalandhar Kurash Championship held at Cambridge International School, Nakodar, proved to be a memorable event.
