 Punjab University Extends Admission Deadline Without Late Fee Till August 11

Punjab University, Chandigarh has extended the last date for admission without a late fee to various courses under the 2025-26 academic session till August 11 for interested students.

Welcoming this decision, Dr. Parvinder Singh, Principal of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Mahilpur, said that students who have not yet secured admission in UG and PG courses can now do so without any late fee till August 11.

He mentioned that there is an overwhelming response from students seeking admission to the college. Even now, students are actively visiting the admission and counseling cell of the college to enroll in different courses.

Dr. Singh also shared that academic sessions have already commenced in the college and regular classes are being conducted. He appealed to students to ensure their admission before August 11 to avoid paying a late fee and secure their seat in the course of their choice.

He further informed that the college runs various scholarship schemes for needy and meritorious students. The selection for these scholarships is based on a student’s complete biodata, academic record, and other achievements. Based on this evaluation, scholarship amounts and certificates of honor are awarded.

He urged students to get admitted in time and attend classes regularly for a successful academic journey.
