Talking to the press today, District Youth Congress Hoshiarpur General Secretary Pranav Kirpal said that deaths are continuously occurring due to overloaded tippers and illegal mining in Garhshankar. He said that so far 18 deaths have occurred in Garhshankar due to overloaded tippers and illegal mining. He asked who is responsible for the 18 deaths caused by tippers in Garhshankar? He said that illegal mining is continuously happening in Garhshankar assembly constituency with the connivance of the administration and political leaders. He said that Youth Congress will not tolerate this and soon Youth Congress will hold a dharna by protesting against overloaded tippers and illegal mining. Rohit Kumar, Sachin Nayyar, Jai Rana, Manjinder Singh, etc. were present on this occasion.
