Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly Jai Krishan Singh Rouri today inaugurated development works done in various government schools falling under the assembly constituency Garhshankar at a cost of about Rs 29.36 lakh. The Deputy Speaker said that the objective of providing the best facilities to the government schools of the state from every point of view is to make the students a companion of time by providing them high level and modern education, so that they can easily pass the competitive examinations in future and achieve those heights with their hard work and dedication, which they dream of.

The Deputy Speaker said in his address that the Punjab Government has so far provided government jobs to more than 52 thousand youth. He said that in government schools, students are motivated to acquire education according to their interest by enhancing their skills so that they can become eligible to take part in competitive examinations after passing class XII and serve on posts of their choice. He also said that the drive to make government departments completely corruption-free is also bringing positive results.

Jai Krishan Singh Rouri said that we are working day and night to achieve the target set by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to strengthen the level of education in government schools in all the primary, middle, high and senior secondary schools of Garhshankar assembly constituency. He said that instructions have been given to the officials of the education department to remain active to meet the needs of the students studying in schools and the teachers teaching in a planned manner. He said that in the last three years, the Punjab government has completely changed the face of the state from the development point of view and people are expressing satisfaction.

The Deputy Speaker today inaugurated new classrooms, library room and other development works in Government High School Mehtabpur, boundary wall in Government Elementary School Gogon, newly constructed classrooms and other development works in Government Elementary School Ghago Rodanwali, new classrooms in Government Elementary School Mukandpur, computer lab and other development works in Government Senior Secondary School Bora, school boundary wall in Government Elementary School Bora and other development works.

Village Panchayats, Education Department officials and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
