 Baba Sahib's special role in uniting the country: Deputy Commissioner

- The district administration celebrated birthday of  Dr. B.R Ambedkar and  paying homage to him

   On behalf of the District Administration, Hoshiarpur the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R  Ambedkar was celebrated with great reverence today in the District Administrative Complex. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal paid homage to the statue of Dr. B. R Ambedkar ji installed in the complex.

While congratulating the people of the district on the birthday of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. Deputy Commissioner said that Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar was the creator of the Indian Constitution. She said that the country can never forget the work done by Baba Sahib in uniting the country. She said that Baba Sahib Ji played a major role in creating unity to give equal rights to all and removed the social evils prevalent in the society during that time.

Komal Mittal said that Baba Sahib was a great personality. She said that his contribution to the country and society cannot be forgotten. Appealing to the residents of the district, she said that they should come forward to serve the country and society by following the path shown by the creator of the Constitution, Dr. Ambedkar. Other officers and employees present on this occasion also paid homage to Dr.  B. R Ambedkar ji.
