Kuantum Papers Limited, like every year, celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm in Saila Khurd. This year, with the theme "Beat Plastic Pollution" in mind, the company organized tree plantation drive and a children's poster making competition. It was highlighted how society and the Government can collaborate to address Plastic Pollution. The importance of trees in maintaining a clean and healthy environment was emphasized, as well as raising awareness about the causes of pollution. Children who participated in the art competition were awarded prizes, and eco-friendly bags were distributed to all the attendees.

On this occasion, the company's newly established environmental control equipment, SediCell, and Fog Cannon Dust Suppression System were inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Krunesh Garg, Chief Environmental Engineer. In his address, Mr. Garg provided detailed information about Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) and the pollution control initiatives undertaken by the Punjab government.

Explaining the significance of this equipment, Mr. Sushil Kumar Khetan, CEO-Operations of the company, stated that its implementation would lead to process improvements and prove beneficial for environmental control.

Following this, Mr. Krunesh Garg, the Chief Environmental Engineer, Senior Environmental Engineer, Mr. Arun Kakkar, and other Environmental Officers inspected the Clonal Hitech Nursery established by Kuantum Papers and commended the company's efforts in social and agricultural horticulture by providing high-quality plants to farmers.

On this occasion, Mr. Arun Kakkar, Senior Environmental Engineer, Mr. Satyajit Atri, Environmental Engineer, Mrs. Pooja Sharma, Environmental Engineer, Mr. Jatinder Kumar, Assistant Environmental Engineer, Mr. Sandeep Gupta, Scientific Officer, along with Mr. Parvinder Singh Taunque, Vice President- Engineering of Kuantum Papers, Mr. Ajesh Gupta - Senior General Manager Administration, and other officials were present.
