 District Legal Services Authority conducted an awareness seminar for students to stay away from drugs

           Punjab Legal Services Authority S. A. S. Nagar and District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Kanwaljit Singh Bajwa under the direction of CJM-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority Kamaldeep Singh Dhaliwal by the District Legal Services Authority in the district till 30 October 2023 A special campaign is being launched against drug addiction. In this regard, the District Legal Services Authority conducted an awareness seminar for the students at Government High School Bheen to stay away from drugs. Para legal volunteer Jaswinder Kaur Rani and para legal volunteer Sunita Rani participated in this seminar.

           On this occasion, para legal volunteer Jaswinder Kaur Rani informed the students about staying away from drugs and said that if someone sells drugs or incites children to do drugs, then the complaint should be brought to the attention of the school head or the police.  She said that to stay away from drugs, students should participate in sports as much as possible. Apart from this, the students were told that the District Legal Services Authority has started a campaign against Punjab drugs from 1st to 30th October 2023 in the district and said that the District Legal Services Authority is on a mission to ensure a drug free Punjab. Principal Ranjit Babbar and all the school staff were present on this occasion.
